This brief survey seeks to understand what support CEP members are able to provide around the Department for Education’s 4 priority areas for education in the South West, supported by CEP, as well as what support and activity would help you to develop your practice in this area.

The four areas identified by the DfE as priorities for education in the South West, in line with national priorities, are:

– Attainment, in particular in English and Maths
– Inclusion (including reducing exclusions, and SEND support)
– Reception year quality (a national priority, although EYFS outcomes are a strength in Cornwall)
– Attendance.
